CAR WASH
The Southwest Woman’s Soccer Car Wash fundraiser is a week and a half away.
Date: Sunday, September 22nd
Time: 10:00am to 4:00pm
Location: Holiday Gas Station, 2448 Hennepin Ave., Uptown Minneapolis
PLAYERS: Time to start selling your tickets.
Most of you should have received tickets in the information packet that you received at the picnic. For those of you who have not, your coaches should be getting some extras to hand out in the next day or so. Please remember that you are being asked to sell at least three tickets (you should have six in the packet).
THE TEAM THAT SELLS THE MOST TICKETS WILL WIN A
BEN & JERRY’S ICE CREAM CAKE.
Please turn over the money from ticket sales and any unsold tickets to either your team manager or bring it to the car wash and give it to Phil Schwartzberg.
Each team will have a 1 1/2 hour time slot for car washing.
Varsity: 10:00 – 11:30
Junior Varsity: 11:30 – 1:00
JV B Squad: 1:00 – 2:30
C Squad: 2:30 – 4:00
All players are expected to join their teammates at their designated time slot to help wash cars. If you can’t make your team’s time slot please show up for another slot. Remember we can’t do this without your help and the more the merrier!
We also need some parent volunteers, ideally at least two per time slot. Please email or call me directly to let me know what time slot/s that you are willing to help and supervise our car washers.
Good luck selling your car wash tickets and to a successful fundraiser!
Go Lakers!

SUPER SOCCER SATURDAY, SEPT. 28th
We really need your help with Super Soccer Saturday.
You can help with the raffle: gathering prizes or selling tickets on Sept. 28th.
You can volunteer for a short shift on Sept. 28th. It works well to work a shift right before or after your own child's game.
Please contact our awesome co-president Craig and let him know what you would love to do: [email protected]
Clear your calendar now so you can sign up on Volunteer Spot, coming your way soon.
It's a fun day that works well when all parents do just one thing.
PHOTOS
Check the website for fun photos from games this season.
Then send your own photos to Barbie so she can put them on the website: [email protected].
We really need JV, B Squad and C Squad photos: fun shots taken by Moms and Dads are the best photos.
Check out the amazing photos by Steve Kotvis at http://f-go.smugmug.com/
He will have shots from some of our varsity games and they can be purchased through his website.
CRAZY SCHEDULE note from Craig and Harold
A big thank you for your continued patience as we struggled with (hopefully) the last of the intense heat and changes by the district to our schedule.
We are still working hard to add some games for the B and C squad teams as they have been hit the hardest with these events.
