Well this is turning into a unique and very challenging start to the soccer season. I suspect few of us have experienced schedules with so much changing so fast. The weather has now added even more short-term issues with practice and game times. We appreciate everyone’s efforts to get the word out on changes quickly and the support of great attitudes and understanding.
Rest assured that several people are working hard on a daily basis to reduce and adjust to these problems as they come up and we make every effort to reduce the impact of these challenges as much as we can.
Now we have two days of school being cancelled so please stay tuned to the website and email boxes to get the latest on practices and schedule changes.
Thank you to everyone who attended the picnic. We hope you enjoyed the food and enjoyed meeting the coaches and other families. We truly have a great family at SWHS and your support for the players is exceptional. Our participation in donations is nearly 80% of the women’s team. This is a great result and we encourage those that have not had a chance to donate to consider volunteering to help with events and concessions or donating an amount they are comfortable with. You can down load a donation form the website at

We also want to thank Lisa Penn-Radke and Julie Green for organizing the picnic. They did a great job and we appreciate there help.

Look for them to be your best source of team specific info.
If you are a photographer and take pictures or video of any of the teams in action or having fun please send them into our web coordinator. Barbie Alampi at [email protected] We want to feature all of our players and collect a great library of images for our end of the year program.
Last of all please tell your players how proud our coaches and boosters are of them in handling these tough scheduling issues with a good attitude. We look forward to having them on the filed and having fun as quick as we can.
Best
